Chicken Chow Mein
Serves - 4
Total Time - 20 Minutes
Ingredients
Meat
Vegetables
- 1 Cup of Chopped Celery
- 1 Cup of Coarsely Chopped Bean Sprouts
- 1 Cup of Sliced Water Chestnuts
- Optional: Use whatever vegetables you like in chow mein
Sauce
- 1/4 ts garlic powder
- 1 TB soy sauce
- 1 chicken flavored bullion cube dissolved in 1 cup of water
- 1 TB cornstarch
- 1 TB cooking wine
Preparation
- Combine sauce and set aside.
- Stir fry chicken for 5 to 10 minutes, or until done. Remove from
wok.
- Stir fry vegetables for 5 minutes.
- Move vegetables to side of wok. Add sauce and let it boil until
it starts to thicken.
- Add chicken and stir everything together until sauce is sufficiently
thick and chicken is hot.
- Serve over crunchy chow mein noodles or rice.

- Surprisingly, this was fantastic the first time I tried to make it.
